Owner of the GWR Programme Assurance (PMO) Strategy which sets out how projects are managed and delivered. • Provide a robust management practice by implementing consistent programme, project practices, while providing a mechanism to support, govern and report progression• Define methodologies, processes, tools, templates, and reports to support project delivery• Provide assurance oversight that project managers are using defined process methodology • Support transformation projects in line with business planning and strategy

Delivering complex projects covering a geographical area from Penzance to London via Wales, which include planning and developing full scale project plans, deliverables and work breakdown structures, through to implementation while identifying and managing:Aims & Objectives Stakeholder and communication plans Scope Time, schedule, key milestones Constraints Budget (business cases for continued justification)Risk, assumptions, issues and dependences (RAID) Safety ManagementThrough innovation develop and deliver robust processes, procedures and complimentary systemsReduce the cost of operations through time management and automation of existing processes where applicable to increase productivity Programme manage the Operations development department and provide support with both project management tools, techniques and methodologiesEnsure robust business processes are in place to support delivery of the business plan through the general management organisationDocument business processes including step by step user guides for line/senior managementManage support, analytical and various other admin rolesFacilitate and manage projects ranging from the implementation of new systems, upgrades, mobile devices and apps
