Developed a notional design for a hosted payload with a Ka Band link to and from the control station and a C-Band (5.03 to 5.091 GHz) link to and from the unmanned aerial vehicle. Utilized Simulink to verify links and generate filters. The work also included the design of the payload control station as well as validation and verification plans. The work was well received by NASA Glenn.Currently on a novel MEO satellite to relay traffic from LEO satellites to the ground. The system utilizes Ka-Band, Q-Band, and V-Band

Lead engineer for the design and operation of the MUOS Single String Test a simulator used to validate the communications subsystem concept. Worked with government personnel and consultants to achieve acceptance of the test report. Assigned to the MUOS Base to User On Orbit Test. defined test equipment, test requirements and test software requirements involving WCDMA signal simulation. Developed the on orbit test procedure covering both the Base to User subsystem as well as the antenna verification cuts. Served as the on site subject matter expert for the testing of both SV1 and SV2 ensuring that testing remained on schedule despite numerous challenges with the equipment and environment. Extensive modifications of both the procedure and software were performed after SV1 resulting in a 4 week reduction of test time for SV2.Served as the Payload Systems subject matter expert in the Jabiru-1 field office at LMCSS. oversaw the development of a communications satellite with Ku-Band, Ka-Band, and S-Band communications subsystems. Served as the technical eyes and ears of the customer. Provided technical input to the Australian customer. Attended manufacturing readiness review, test readiness review. Oversaw hot vibration of TWTs to eliminate spontaneous shut offs during ground test.Supported Orbital Sciences in the integration and test of the Al-Yah, Hylas4, and SES16 satellites. Became familiar with the Keysight next generation payload test equipment

Developed and implemented a signal processing test demonstration involving upconverters,, downconverters and a digital channelizer. Developed an in orbit test system capable of testing 280 simultaneous spot beams.
