CurrentPerformed the UAS study for NASA Glenn. The study the notional design of a satellite based system for the control of unmanned aerial vehicles in the United States airspace. Developed a notional design for a hosted payload with a Ka Band link to and from the control station and a C-Band (5.03 to 5.091 GHz) link to and from the unmanned aerial vehicle. Utilized Simulink to verify links and generate filters. The work also included the design of the payload control station as well as validation and verification plans. The work was well received by NASA Glenn.Currently on a novel MEO satellite to relay traffic from LEO satellites to the ground. The system utilizes Ka-Band, Q-Band, and V-Band
