    Having worked for over fifty years in an exciting industry that I loved, in the town of my birth, and that gave me an opportunity to work with outstanding general contractors and with many qualified and honest subcontractors, without whom I could not have built so much as a treehouse, I have retired (for real this time) as of the end of January, 2019. I want to thank each and every one of you who participated in my successes; I hope you feel the same about me. I can't speak highly enough about the men and women at Spaw Glass, at the companies to which the men and women at Spaw Maxwell ultimately transferred, and at Webber Commercial (formerly Pepper/Lawson), and the way they conduct their business. Because of GCs like them, the subcontracting community should thank their lucky stars that they are working in Houston and southeast Texas. Now go out there and get some work!
