My primary duties involved building strong relationships with Realtors, Builders, and internal referral partners. My responsibilities included originating loans and working closely with senior leadership to enhance the origination process. As part of this effort, I played a key role in implementing a new loan origination system (LOS), integrating Monday.com systems to track internal referrals, and creating an internal testimonial engine to enable clients to provide feedback. In addition, I regularly provided referral partners with updates on our product and production pipeline. I consistently exceeded our sales and process excellence goals.

As part of loanDepot’s regional expansion in Central and Southern Virginia, I successfully onboarded and managed up to 9 loan officers in the Richmond market. I also established relationships with realtor and builder organizations to increase brand awareness and production opportunities. Additionally, I collaborated with the regional leadership team to develop process improvements that enhance the customer experience.s to create a better customer experience.

I spearheaded corporate and division initiatives across the Central and Eastern Virginia Markets. I was responsible for coaching and developing loan officers to ensure they met and exceeded production, quality, and client satisfaction benchmarks. I oversaw 17 mortgage loan officers located throughout the market, including bank-aligned, wealth management-aligned, and self-sourced loan officers. Served as President and CEO of Village Bank Mortgage Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of Village Bank and Trust (NASDAQ: VBFC). Oversaw key initiatives in sales, operations, secondary, accounting, marketing and with cross-functional teams to improve process flows and better align VBMC with bank strategy. Led at team of 6 managers with a total span of 60 team members. Full ownership and control of company's profit and loss with accountability to both Village Bank and Village Bank Mortgage Corporation Board of Directors.
