I've had years of experience in IT support and customer service.I am currently looking for a 100% work from home position. 100% work from home means never coming in to any office ever, never attending any in person meeting, speeches, announcements, managerial scrums, any presentations of any kind. Literally 0% in person activity of any kind. Ideally my work contract would state that the only people capable of even thinking about requesting my in person presence would be the police.I am not looking for employment with any business who 'wants highly driven/motivated workers,' 'wants people who know how to hustle and really give 110%,' 'needs workers who really know how to go above and beyond the their basic duties.' I want a job that expects precisely what I'm hired for and nothing more, ideally updating a spreadsheet all day long. All of these hyper typical hiring phrases tell me that a company is exploitative, abusive, and dehumanizing. I value my personal time more than anything else, far more than any typical business job activities or endeavors. If a company expects me to step up and do more work than my hired position explicitly dictates then I expect that job to consistently abuse my efforts and my time, and as such I want nothing to do with those positions. Customer service has burned me out.If you want an employee who will work hard to do a good job explicitly within the confines of their hired position then I'm your guy. If you want someone who will constantly take on more work than they were hired for then I want nothing to do with you or your business.100% work from home, ideally more days off than on. I AM NOT interested in high energy/high frequency positions, I AM NOT interested in phone call centers or customer support, I AM NOT interested in stressful or frantic environments, I AM NOT interested in rapidly changing business needs, I AM NOT interested in inconsistency or 'flexible' frequently changing schedules, I AM NOT interested in forced toxic positivity interactions. I AM NOT interested in working weekends. Please stop abusing your workers.

Schedule management.Largely I was responsible for taking initial call in and ticket based assignments and scheduling tasks to other support technicians. Though my duties frequently included Windows server management, data recovery, and addressing network connectivity issues, more often than not my position dealt with malfunctioning printers, poorly built wireless networks that resulted in frequent disconnects from network/server environments, ancient lawyers who did not know that their data was stored in folders on a hard drive, sports promoters who didn't know how to restart a wi-fi router, and health information providers who regularly violated HIPAA. This experience has largely turned me off from working in IT jobs in the future however I would take a server management role that was very limited in scope. -
Counselor/Local It HeadOklahoma Summer Arts Institute 2010 - 2014Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, United StatesThis was a reoccurring summer gig for a local arts institute for statewide arts students. Most counselors helped lead classes with other professional artists and creators brought in to teach students for the duration of the camp. However I was tasked with setting up and maintaining the IT infrastructure used by the camp, because most of this work was done in the period before the students arrived most of my time at the camp was spent either as a counselor every night or by helping out other departments and disciplines throughout the weeks. I spent a lot of time working with management and helping with communication, troubleshooting IT incidents as they popped up, facilitating on the spot IT solutions for things like long distance seminars or local presentations, and helping various departments with an extra set of hands (like the stage technicians coordinating different live dance or music presentations). After a couple of years the leaders of OSAI made me head of the male student cabins, responsible for check ins and coordination every night. So I had many odd jobs after the initial wireless and LAN network setups. Perhaps most notably I had to help the hotel whose facility we were renting out with their internet issues, resulting in calling out and working with their service provider technicians in finding, diagnosing, and repairing their physically damaged business line. The hotel's internet worked far better after my help, they finally got the service they were paying for.

However this location was chronically understaffed and, while I was primarily a delivery driver, I also had to occasionally fill management duties such as leading a shift, preparing the store for the next shift or closing down the store, and counting and filing daily profits. Taking and transferring inventory from our supplier was also a regular duty.
