- Responsible for the development of structural design software across a variety of design codes (AS 4100, AS 4600, AS 2870, EN 1993, AISI S100), specializing in structural steel and cold formed steel. - Carried out detailed engineering verification and quality assurance checks on SkyCiv packages to ensure bug-free and accurate software.- Managed and led development of custom design software for clients in the facade, solar panel and steel sheeting industries.- Prepared technical documentation, design guides and educational content on programming and engineering design practice.- Created a Udemy course teaching structural engineers how to build their own software using JavaScript and HTML, with over 600x active students.

Site Engineer on the 111 Castlereagh St project, a $400 million redevelopment of the historic “David Jones Building” in the Sydney CBD. Project comprises significant alterations to the existing heritage 12-storey structure and the addition of a 36-storey residential tower, supported by six “mega-columns” penetrating through the existing building. Key roles and responsibilities:-Responsible for managing multi-disciplinary engineering/architecture teams to produce coordinated retail and commercial design packages.-Managed temporary bracing & engineering works to allow for demolition of 50% of existing heritage structure (including existing lift core). Works included extensive materials investigation, structural strengthening and concrete repair works.-Responsible for design coordination and procurement of a 1000t permanent works structural steelwork package. Particular focus on complex structural steelwork detailing, fabrication and erection/temporary works engineering.-Implemented quality assurance procedures to ensure compliance with design specifications and legislative requirements.

Responsible for structural analysis and design of reinforced concrete, structural steel, composite and timber structures, including high-rise buildings, defence facilities and landscape features. Extensive experience in demolition/temporary works, structural steel design/detailing and existing structure analysis/strengthening design.

Teaching Transport Engineering (CVEN3401), Soil Mechanics (CVEN3202) Engineering Construction (CVEN2101) and Engineering Infrastructure Systems (ENGG1400) to classes of 30-40 students.
