After working 20 years in the security industry and winning multiple awards as a security guard, I decided that it was time for me to open my own security company. I initially called it PAG until I added Missing Person Investigations to help those in need that could not afford a private investigator and I do this pro-bono to give back to the community. I therefore changed the company name from PAG to my own initials GM Group Services. I did not realise we would be a multi-award-winning security company winning awards each year and the thought never actually crossed my mind when I started up my security company. Some of the reasons we are so successful is because we are always thinking of the following:1. How can we be a leader in the security industry. 2. How will we be a standout. 3. how can we offer something different than the other security companies.4. How can we add value to our client’s security costs.It is great to have a team of motivated guards and a management team who are accepting of change as we move forward into the security industries future. We constantly look for ways to add value to our clients, provide reporting to better utilise our security guards and ensure our guards are skilled in their field of expertise. We have multiple systems in place with the latest technology, which include things such as geo fencing, live reporting, incident registers and more importantly, our system will immediately inform us if a security licence has been cancelled to ensure we never provide a security guard to a client that is not correctly licensed.
