I worked as both the Control Room operator and Night Supervisor at Dundrum Town Centre. My responsibilities were to supervise a team of 6 officers from 8 pm to 8 am. The centre was open 24/7 and the main roles were controlling access to car parks, restricting access to closed off areas, monitoring the bars and restaurants, crowd control for regular events, surveillance of the entire site (200+ cameras), and dealing with all types of emergencies.

As the Physical Security Co-ordinator I was responsible for the day to day management of the Manned Guarding force (150+ officers), CCTV network and access control system for all the manned and unmanned sites throughout the UK. I wrote and implemented all policies and procedures relating to these three key areas of the security section of the company. I also helped colleagues throughout EMEA to implement these policies in their respective regions. I was involved in several tender processes and was very proactive in writing & maintaining assignment instructions and KPI's.
