I had the privilege of working with Dr. Daniel Hall MD, Dr. John Hwang MD, and Dr. Ehab Hussein DO at Mount Carmel East. Dr. Hall is a general/trauma surgeon, Dr. Hwang is a trauma orthopedic surgeon and orthopedic surgery program director, and lastly Dr. Hussein is a critical care pulmonologist at Mount Carmel East. From both of my mentors I was able to learn about the life of a surgeon, working with other medical professionals, and how to interact with patients.

The Room Service Ambassador reports to the Nutrition Services Coordinator and is responsible for serving the completed trays to the patients in a professional, efficient manner; instructing the patient on meal ordering system; assisting patient in placing meal orders if needed; assessing the patients capabilities to using the meal order system; and keeping the nursing unit floor pantry stocked. Demonstrates competencies defined (*) in Room Service Ambassador responsibilities in providing age-appropriate care to patients from the age of birth through 21 years, and select adult patients.
