Blackbird is a highly strategic, internally developed, self-service data ingestion tool, part of the AIaaS (AI as a Service) platform. Blackbird is used by AT&T data scientists to simplify the creation, deletion, and usage of Databricks clusters, as well as to run data modeling experiments.Implemented an API-first approach for managing Databricks clusters as part of AT&T's main Databricks provisioning system, utilizing Python, Flask, and MongoDB.Worked with the Databricks API to manage, create, delete, update, and synchronize clusters between mongoDB and Databricks.I focused with my scrum team on research and connectivity set up for AirFlow to Databricks, AirFlow to ADLS, Databricks to ADLS, Databricks to Deep data storage as well as Nifi integration, execution of Apache Spark and applied newly learned skills on a POC MLFlow model using Apache Spark.Implemented bash scripts running cron jobs to restart Nifi clusters.Developed Databricks notebooks to deploy code using CI/CD pipelines in Airflow, connect to the DEEP datastore, and run queries.

Modernization: Moving legacy AT&T apps to AzureLed the modernization effort for 2 legacy C#.NET apps of the larger 'GeoLink' app family, part of a 50+ app move. It was a highly complex effort that required tight collaboration with other teams. I was part of 2 scrum teams at the same time, taking initiative to have impromptu meetings to solve issues, following up with cross-team developers, and delegating tasks. I created and maintained the CI/CD pipelines, variables, and path mappings in the Azure App Service. Created documentation for our application that included common fixes which saved support teams hours in figuring out and was used by 10+ members of the team.

WALDO is a cross-platform app similar to Google Maps where technicians and construction managers can view AT&T facilities, fiber/copper cables and design projects. Learned QML & ArcGIS API. Demonstrated variability by delivering both back end technologies(Oracle, webservices), but also front end technologies (QML, JavaScript and ArcGIS API).Created 3 processes that display actual and estimated cost to the users (using cursors and PL/SQL queries)Recognized by my business partner’s director for implementing their first microservice

My client was able to utilize me on both WBCM (Java) and INSIGHT:BCTS (.NET). Picked up two defects from a WBCM developer who had an unexpected family emergency. I was able to deliver the Oracle fix on short notice. Received recognition. Signed up to be my director’s youRefer representative. youRefer was an AT&T customer referral program for employees. Presented for the youRefer and Service Ambassador promotions during a “Customer Service and tools” meeting. Sent monthly newsletter to 100 direct reports. Presented advice and answered questions asked by the new hire class. Mentored a new resource on INSIGHT:BCTS, by helping him complete his assignment and deploy the code to the test server. Mentored a client resource who had not used VB.NET and ASP.NET before, in order to get him up to speed for an INSIGHT:BCTS project.Created the Headroom Report (A CRUD tool) from scratch, both the backend and the front end.

WBCM (Web-Based Capacity Management) Led design and development for a fast-paced project to implement production fixes related to splitter port statuses that WBCM sends to INSIGHT:DSS. Created two new Teradata extractors and tables, views to support the new ETL process. Dealt with changing client requirements and delegated work to another developer. Modified both back end and front end. Added logic to join the new customers into WBCM oracle database. Solely responsible for the design, test cases, and accompanying documentation. Helped develop Teradata queries to extract all splitters connected to an OLT. Created tables and views to support this ETL process. Delivered data to INSIGHT:DSS. The addition of TA5000 and TA5004/6 equipment needed significant changes in the WBCM database backend and frontend. CTS (Centralized Testing Support)Provided support to over 40 users for installing, troubleshooting and using the PLUM tool (Project List Update Manager), a thick client made in C#.NET. Due to client installation issues we decided to move the functionality to a thin client, hosted on a Websphere server. I quickly ramped up by learning ajax and dojo, and successfully delivered the tool with 3 other developers.Created the 'CTS Tools Dashboard' in VB.NET & ASP.NET. Learned how to implement the AT&T Global Logon in .NET. Developed:- the Q-bot, a mass email sender used for downtime notices. The tool was able to send email and Q messages to 13,000 AT&T users and contractors. Q was the AT&T internal IM tool before moving to MS Teams. - a backend process in VB.NET that updated various project lists & maintain the data from PRISM, another AT&T app.- a backend process that cleaned up the “Assigned to App” list in 3,452 ALM QC defects, saving the CTS Tools team an estimated $21,000. I was recognized by the client with a monetary reward. - an ASP.NET GUI that displays data from the database that the offshore team did not have access to. This drastically improved testing time, as testers would have wait for developers to validate data.- a report that displays app errors filtered by server or method, with Excel export capability. CSMI (Cell Site Management and Inventory) is a One AT&T project that provides reporting, forecasting, tracking, budgeting, and approval capabilities to the 22-states cell tower sites. Quickly ramped up by learning SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services). Played an instrumental role in creating the staging and operational SSIS packages used to load, extract, and transform data from 15 external interfaces using flat files, Excel files, Oracle, SQL Server, and Teradata databases. My initial SSIS packages were used as a model for the other packages developed by the CSMI team, as no one else in the team was knowledgeable in SSIS. A total of 40 packages were created. Developed all the VB.NET Script Tasks used in creating/updating the Date/Time stamped log files. Implemented T-SQL Stored Procedures - create/truncate/update tables, joins. Performed data audits and worked with the interfacing team to correct defects. Created two thoroughly detailed documents, “SSIS Guide and Troubleshooting” and “SSIS Best Practices” – the latter served as a transition document for our client.Technologies used:Visual Studio(VB.NET, BIDS), SQL Server(T-SQL), SSIS, ColdFusion, Eclipse/CVS, Toad, ReqPro, QC.
