Serve as Installation lead for Naval Tactical Command Support Systems (NTCSS) Optimized Organizational Maintenance Activity (OOMA) system installation teams. Perform system load of NTCSS/OOMA server(s) in accordance with NTCSS/OOMA system installation procedures, setup network configurations/interfaces, evaluate and load current security Information Assurance Vulnerability Alert (IAVA) patches as required. Load, migrate, test and verify site specific databases and execute System Operational Verification Test (SOVT). Train fleet system users in theory, terminology, administration and daily maintenance to include system backups, system configurations/interfaces, troubleshooting and disaster recovery, detachment processing and IAVA loads.

Manage, facilitate, schedule, execute, present, and document all command training for my reserve command established by the CNO and DLA. Assist in processing, transporting by forklift, inventory and accounting for all items transiting through DLA’s warehouses during reserve drill weekends. Assist in processing, readdressing/redirecting and delivering all parcels, mail pouches and letter mail received though central postal hubs on different bases during annual training missions.

Responsible for providing products and services related to enterprise installation projects Prepare and conduct site surveys for shore and afloat installations.Plan for and participate in the assessment of the material and operational condition of existing systems and report readiness to managementPerform activities related to the installation the software, databases, or data that comprise the software product onto the hardware platform at the site(s) of operation.Design and develop technical strategies that verifies that the installed or modified enterprise systems, operates as intended at the platform specific location and environmentPlan for and participate in Information Assurance activities such as system scans Work cooperatively with other installation Project Engineers and other engineering teams to resolve issues and meet objectives.

-Travel to different military bases and install/upgrade computers, handle deployments, ghost machines and upgrade networks that are out of date. -Monitor, operate and maintain hardware, software, and networks for a computing platform for all military installations supported by NMCI (Navy and Marine Corps Intranet) now NGEN (Next Generation Enterprise Network).-Configure, assemble and install laptops, microcomputers, workstations and/or peripheral equipment.-Perform first-line support for service interruptions such as printer routing, power outages, wiring problems, and malfunctioning servers and escalate unresolved problems to expedite resolution.

Performed migration and major error testing on projected Naval Tactical Command Support System (NTCSS) Intermediate Maintenance Activity (IMA) databases and Optimized Organizational Maintenance Activity (OOMA) Naval Aviation Logistics Command Management Information Systems (NALCOMIS) databases prior to major hardware/software upgrades using VMware. Performed new server installs and upgrades to current onsite servers in accordance with SPAWAR system operational verification tests (SOVT’s) that included requesting, processing, distribution and installing all needed class 3 DOD PKI server certificates for all newly installed servers. Performed training with site DBA/SA's on the new version or upgrade of NALCOMIS that the site was receiving along with maintaining training suite of laptops and servers used to train the rest of the maintenance crews at these commands how to use the new systems. Reviewed System Administration documentation to ensure accuracy and validity.

Maintained, updated and modified complex Naval Aviation Logistics Command Management Information Systems databases. Managed over 10 individual multilevel intricate airframe, system, sub-systems and component tracking databases. Utilized top tier servers to extract and research data to present aircraft usage, work center productivity and trend analysis. Act as a direct liaison between FRCMA and ASD, supporting squadrons and ships in dealing with logsets. Upkeep and maintain the commands central technical publication library in accordance with DON and command requirements.
