Worked on creating data-gathering methods, conducting data collection, assisting data analysis, and presenting results at AHEC's Workforce Summit. This internship also included aspects of planning/preparing for the workforce summit, leading a group of pre-health volunteers, and more. I also assisted with the Medicaid Managed Care Oversight Project, a partnership project with the Hawaii Department of Health, to create data-gathering methods and analyze the state's Medicaid network. With this project, I helped the Hawaii DOH gather data on the timeliness of care provided by the state's Medicaid network, conducted data analysis on Medicaid employment data, and wrote a report on the strength/weaknesses of the network.
