Generating programs that ensure maximum utilization of machine’s capabilities while keeping in minimum levels production time, wastage of raw materials and tools wear.Prepares daily and weekly production schedules for special orders, promotional items and obtains approval of Production Director.Coordinates with Sales Manager daily for the orders that have to be prepared during the evening shift, making any necessary arrangements in order to establish a smooth and effective production. Arranging with procurement officers the supply of raw materials that are out of stock.Training Officer for company’s undergraduate program. Working with young engineers who are looking to develop their skills and gain practical experience. Preparing programs to meet each candidate’s needs, taking under consideration the undergraduate course that they are attending as well as their personal preferences.Prepares technical specifications and cost analysis of new products.

Prepares preliminary design reviews (PDR) for new products and for modifications on existing parts. Reports to Senior Engineers and makes any necessary changes in order to prepare the critical design review (CDR). Always designing taking under consideration manufacturing capabilities, fabrication procedures, palletizing and painting processes. Ensures minimization of production cost, time and waste of raw materials.Serves as department’s liaison, coordinating any tasks that have to be performed in the facility regarding other factory sectors. Creates time schedules and request any additional required personnel. Coaches and trains department’s labors in order to be able to operate new machinery. Creates on job training programs to upgrade operator’s professional levels in order to meet the quality and operational requirements in the most efficient way. Writes technical documents regarding machine operation and common faults troubleshooting. Ensures that operators are able to understand the tasks that have to be performed, without any safety hazards for themselves or the machinery.

Acquires training regarding company’s CAD/CAM packages.Coached by Senior Engineers about machinery basic operation and programming.Supervises small groups of unskilled personnel. Ensures production rate and quality meet production standards.
