As senior developer and technical architect I was part of the management team. I attended weekly management meetings to discuss progress of current work and plan future development. I was also directly involved in all aspects of the development of specific projects as well as providing support for existing applications.- Golf Product Catalogue & Management Tool: Responsible for architecting and developing the complex interaction between the product database (cloud SQL Server) and product data in individual shops. Worked with the client and business analyst to gather requirements, create design documentation, and deliver the systems. Managed releases and the relationship with the client. - Data Collection Service: Liaising with key stakeholders and multiple clients to give updates and gather feature requests and defects, deliver updates, administer the SQL databases, and manage the support team (UK and Sweden) to ensure that data collection and quality was maintained. - Implementation of new working practices: Creating and delivering training material to the team on implementation of agile working and migration of source control to SVN.- Hosted server procurement: Worked in a team to generate requirements and select a new hosting solution. I lead the technical discussions and once in place I worked with others to configure the environment, create a migration plan, and manage the migration process.- Other: Organising training for the development team. Arranging social events, weekly badminton, etc.

Responsible for deciding development schedule by liaising with key clients and internal stakeholders. Assisting the support team by acting as 3rd line support for all products and general IT issues. Organising the development team so that everyone had the necessary tools and knowledge to do their job.- Maintenance and enhancement of EPOS system (VB6 and SQL Express). Modules (e.g. EFT integration) largely written in VB6 with some in VB.NET. Extensive report suite developed in Crystal Reports.- Design and build a data collection service and database (VB.NET & SQL Server). Implement the solution and provide support and ongoing development.- Design and build booking system (VB.NET & SQL Express) with integration in to EPOS. Capable of booking lessons, tennis courts/snooker tables/etc, tee times, etc. - Windows service (VB.NET) which provides integration between the EPOS system and golf driving range dispenser hardware.

Technical Skills: VB6/VB.NET, SQL Server (T-SQL, Store Procedures, Triggers, DTS, Replication), some ASP.NET, ETL tool configuration.Project Work: Producing CRM databases for large blue chip companies. Experience of the full development life cycle from writing system and program specifications, through writing test plans and performing unit/system testing, to installation. All documentation written to meet ISO standards.Support Work: Support on existing marketing databases. Duties include raising change controls, liaising with account managers, correcting bugs in code, stored procedures and triggers, supporting import of data files using ETL tools, and installing changes.
