I studied physics at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece, where I received my PhD in 2012. After receiving my PhD, I’ve worked as a researcher at the University of Tubingen in Germany, at SISSA in Trieste, Italy, at the University of Nottingham in the UK, at the Physics and Astronomy Department of the University of Mississippi in the US, at the IST in Lisbon, Portugal, and at the Physics Department of the Sapienza University in Rome. Now, I am an assistant professor at the Aristotle University in Thessaloniki, Greece. My research interests are on Compact Objects; structure and global properties, their astrophysical environment, universal properties (EOS independent) of compact objects and no-hair-like structure of their multipole moments. Multipole moments and stationary axisymmetric spacetimes in General Relativity and in alternative theories of gravity; astrophysical applications and tests of theories of gravity.
