My interests lie in working with very large data-sets to create predictive and analytical models of complex phenomena. Background in Computer Science & Artificial Intelligence, with a focus on creating neural network models to explore specific research questions. Have written and shared novel simulation and analysis scripts using MatLab.Most recent role focused on exploring how brain oscillations interact to perform cognitive tasks. I work with epilepsy patients to collect intra-cranial brain data, analysing very large data-sets using statistical methods. I then create predictive algebraic models that explain data and inform theories. Have taught MSc & BSc modules, namely Mathematics for Computing and Cognitive Neural Networks. Have also enjoyed co-supervision of MSc student projects and collaborative projects with colleagues.
