Since the age of 14, I have worked with over 40 children in all areas of Maths and Science up into- and including A-levels. On an average week I will see between 10-12 children for hour to two hour sessions. Each session is individually planned to cater to the child's needs, this requires me to spend hours planning the content of my lessons. My ethos is that school work should be seen as a positive individual experience as opposed to a negative one where students feel the pressures of academic expectation, I give children the confidence to engage with their studies in a manner which sees school as an opportunity to develop a greater understanding of the world. In an era where mental health issues such as anxiety and depression are fed by the schooling system- I try to teach students that they aren't a test grade and this alone can cause students to achieve much better academically.

Having played football for the majority of my life, I first got involved in coaching at the age of 15. Since then, I have become a Level 2 FA Licensed Coach. Whilst leading sessions for children between the ages of 5 and 16, I have also coached and managed an under 12 football team. This consists of coaching the team in mid-week and weekend training sessions and taking the children to matches. This requires immense amounts of man management ability to ensure the children are both safe and engaged. My tactical knowledge of football and appreciation of the game is something I look to transfer to all 11 players who currently play for me.

At Restless, I specialised in creating content for mygcsescience.com's social media platforms. Having a strong background in science and being a tutor for many years, coupled with my understanding and appreciation of a GCSE students life, I tailored content to suit and meet the needs of the audience. I created content which is both engaging and informative to the students.

Spent a week shadowing a Senior Quantitative Analyst. Gained an insight into the process of modelling prices of Options over a period of time.

Spent summer holidays learning QA skills. This included becoming familiar with bug reporting software such as JIRA, Redmine and Trello.
