 Grew the NWN-Houston HP Enterprise business from zero to multiple millions in 18 months. Designed, built, and delivered complete IT Solutions to include servers, networking, storage, physical infrastructure, and software for various customers in a wide range of industries.  Provided estimates for delivery and managed services using T&M and project-based approaches.  Created Statements of Work using a phased approach which focused on completion of milestones. Taught the NWN sales team and customers about data center technologies. Discovered and built tools for the sales team for quickly identifying solutions to customers’ problems and pain points.

 Designed/Architected storage for various Fortune 100 customers for storage, managed services, and delivery services.  Largest managed services opportunity was $30 million. Solutions included all facets of storage such as SAN Array subsystems, VTL, dedupe, tape, backup, archival, with multiple storage networking including fibre channel and iSCSI connectivity.  Analyzed complex storage landscapes at a customer site and tailored best fit HP products, services, and software to meet the requirements. Provided deep-dive technical briefings and presentations to customers. Consulted with other architects to design global solutions for Fortune 1000 customers. Trained HP’s partner community and mentored new HP Storage employees.

 Designed/Architected a migration solution or solution set for Fortune 100 Customers. Interfaced with business partners to coordinate timeframes for array data reclamations and migrations. Executed and performed migrations using a range of effective methodologies, always meeting relevant SLAs using the customer’s Change Management Policies. Evaluated Migration products to determine best fit for the customer. Created and updated customized graphical dashboards which assisted in regular reporting on migration status.

 Managed 8PB of SAN disk including the full product line of Hitachi and HP storage. . Provisioned SAN storage to Linux, AIX, HP-UX, VMWare, and Windows Servers. Implemented tiered storage solutions in order to optimize cost efficiency and performance. Responsible for troubleshooting SAN issues and problems for tens of thousands of servers. Zoned and troubleshot Cisco and Brocade SAN switches. Provided technical leadership, training, and documentation for SAN technologies to other storage professionals and business partners.
