- Manage infrastructure in local and remote data centers: NetApp FAS and AFF SAN, Cisco UCS, Dell PowerEdge servers- Deploy and manage Windows 2008/2012/2016 servers spread across several remote locations- Build and harden various application servers, including IIS and SQL- VMware vSphere management and upgrade from 5.5 to 6.5- On-premises Exchange 2013, 2016 management and migration to Office 365- Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP management in a multi-site domain- Integrate over 150 servers into the environment as part of an acquisition- Troubleshoot LAN and WAN network connectivity for remote locations- Employ various security solutions to ensure network and server security, such as Symantec Email Security, AirWatch MDM, RSA Authentication Manager, Rapid7 Nexpose- Manage VMware Horizon View VDI environment- Deploy file archive solution to reduce cost of storage, file versioning, e-discovery and restore- Implement Dell OpenManage Essentials to inventory, monitor, and update servers in over 50 locations- Vulnerability management for SOX, FDIC, and PCI compliance- Participate in annual DR test- Utilize SolarWinds, NetApp, Veeam One monitoring tools to ensure network and server availability and performance- SSL certificates and template management- Automate daily tasks in order to ensure server and service availability (Powershell, batch files)- Mentor and assist members of infrastructure and help desk learn the environment and troubleshoot problems as they arise- Provide support for escalated incidents relating to infrastructure systems- Work with developers and database administrators to resolve complex problems, including IIS and SQL- Work with vendors to obtain quotes, order hardware, and arrange for installation- Produce documentation to assist help desk in troubleshooting various programs and processes

- Deploy and maintain virtual and physical machines running Windows and Linux, in a vmWare/Cisco UCS environment. Install various applications servers per business requirements- Ensure optimal performance and availability by utilizing monitoring and performance tools such as Solarwinds Virtual Manager, NPM, and APM- Manage Active Directory users, groups, DHCP, DNS. Design and implement group policies- Manage Dell EquaLogic, NetApp and Purestorage SAN, provision new servers with storage, re-organize storage to improve performance- Work with software and database developers in resolving day-to-day and complex issues pertaining to in-house applications- Perform security scans using Nessus and address vulnerabilities as necessary- Implement products and procedures to ensure PCI and SOX compliance- Manage enterprise firewall rules to allow public access to specific servers and applications- Upgrade and maintain Symantec PGP Encryption server- Configure and co-ordinate deployment of equipment for new locations, such as APC, Liebert, TrippLite, ShoreTel VoIP switches, SonicWall, Cradle Point, Dell and HP, etc.- Act as a project manager for new locations from an IT perspective. Order Internet circuits and phone lines, as well as network and phone equipment as per the new site requirements.- Assist local and remote employees with various technology problems, such as network, phones, computer, and VPN- Implement, monitor, and perform backups and restores for files, Active Directory, Exchange and SharePoint using Symantec BackupExec and Veeam- Upgrade and maintain the email system from Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2010, Mimecast, Google Apps, TrendMicro ScanMail- Design and implement various solutions that reduce the number of trouble tickets and increase productivity, such as account lock-out notifications, password self-service portal, secure file transfer to and from various financial institutions, Google Apps Directory Sync, secure FTP and GUI-based file sharing

- Participate in planning and deployment of new technologies, such as RADIUS, VoIP, WiFi, MS Office Communicator, MS Great Plains, etc.- Upgrade and maintain the enterprise email system from Exchange 2007 to Exchange 2010- Maintain enterprise HP LeftHand and NetApp SAN systems, provision new servers with storage, etc.- Manage Active Directory users and DNS assignments. Design and implement group policies- Configure and make basic changes to network devices such as switches, VPN clients, wireless access points, including creating VLAN’s, assigning ports to VLAN’s, and configure QoS.- Build and maintain physical and virtual Windows 2008 and Linux servers used for various purposes, such as SQL back-end, hosting, applications, and utility servers, utilizing Hyper-V and VMware - Implement, monitor, and perform backups and restores using various backup software, including Symantec BackupExec and CommVault Simpana- Maintain Linux servers and applications that run security scans against enterprise servers- Assist software developers, engineers, technicians and end-users in resolving hardware and software problems- Work with the internal security team in identifying and addressing server and application vulnerabilities- Reduce downtime by monitoring system performance and availability using Microsoft SCOM. Respond to alerts and work with support representatives to address software and hardware issues- Research and document procedures for new hardware and software installation
