• Providing remote technical support satellite communication systems, networking equipment, operating systems, application software and system management tools.• Assisting proactively customers with technical issues that may arise with their solution implementation.• Troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis. • Identify and provide timely workarounds and solutions, when possible, to meet customer’s business needs.• Assisting remotely FEs in the installation of Company’s solution on site, configuring VoIP using asterisk, LAN/WAN interfaces/connections, Access Points (Mikrotik) installation and configuration.• Installing the Network equipment, rack cabling and commissioning of the Satellite Antennas as a Field Engineer on board the vessel.• Support malfunctions across Customer's network, including Satellite connections and networking routing/switching issues.• Managing/maintenance Customers network such as configuring firewall checkpoint, local firewall, port forwarding, LAN/WAN networks including routing/switching and the Quality of Service of the network.• Proactively monitoring requested/allocated bandwidth of the satellite internet connection.
