As your editor, my role is to make your manuscript the best it can be.My background is diverse. Earning an M.A. degree in Anthropology from Colorado State University in 1981 enhanced my 20+ year career as a contract archaeologist and subsequent 25 year career as a business owner. Currently, in addition to running Eagle Eye Editing, I am the Principal Investigator for the Cowford Archaeological Research Society, a non-profit group in Jacksonville, Florida. I have written and edited numerous proposals and research designs to win government contracts as well as uncounted archaeological research and compliance reports. Reports ranged in length from just a few, to hundreds of pages. Reports of projects conducted on public lands adhered to stringent cultural resource management guidelines of various Federal agencies. I also was technical / correlation editor for a book about Florida archaeology. Prospective clients include authors of technical, academic, and creative articles, papers and book-length manuscripts needing light proofreading to heavy copy and correlation editing. I will help, from organizing ideas to proofreading, fact-checking, light research, and creating bibliographies for the final copy. I am versed in Microsoft Word, Adobe Illustrator, Excel, Photoshop and Power Point.I will work with you to polish your manuscript to professionally accepted standards. We will work together constructively to clarify your writing by improving the flow and overall appearance of the manuscript you’ve gone over for so many hours. Your unique needs will be considered to make a sometimes daunting process as painless as possible. Visit my website, www.eagleeyeonline.wordpress.com, for more information. Show less
