My whole life, I’ve always been most motivated to pursue things that made a difference, that had a positive impact on those around me.Making a difference is why I got into banking in the first place. When I was starting to carve out my own professional path, I wanted to enhance my financial literacy to give more opportunities to my family and me. After several months in the profession and completing multiple certification courses, I was even qualified to teach others how to effectively manage their money and reach their goals.But my desire to make a difference predates my days in the banking industry.When I was 12, I created a song called "Stop the Violence," which served as the inspiration for a "Stop the Violence" rally I planned. At the time, there were accidental shootings involving kids my age in our community, and I wanted to take a stand against the violence. The rally brought together my entire school and several people of the community and was a regular occurrence for 2 years, bringing crucial attention to a serious issue.In 2019, I worked a big music festival with Robin Thicke to promote equality and good times. It all started because of my love for music – I wanted to be part of the music industry any way I could growing up, and after working at a major radio station at the age of 14 as a DJ, I was able to get my foot in the door, attended some big concerts, and met some of my favorite artists.What all these points in my life, as well as so many other moments, have in common is that I've always done what made a difference.Whether it’s helping others manage their money better, planning an anti-violence rally, or hosting a concert promoting equity, my aim in everything I do is to make the world around me a better place.I am a highly motivated banking professional and I have a comprehensive background in assessing customer financial data, loan processing and services, developing management strategies, social media marketing and promoting banking products and services.
