In this role I attended a variety of different sports sessions. I was able to lead in a variety of different scenarios whilst also assisting other coaches. Leading in multi-sport sessions allowed me to become more comfortable and familiar with different sports and activities. The main groups were children of varied ages and abilities which meant I always had to be adaptable and make sessions flexible.

Throughout Pre-season I was able gain experience within a semi-pro setting. I was involved in both academy and first team testing. I then assisted in first team trainings and matchdays into the season. I was able to see how training is planned and how programmes are individualised for players.

My role involved many tasks throughout shifts. These roles allowed me to bolster; Teamwork, communication and customer service skills, whilst also working in a high pressure environment.

Throughout the role I was responsible for ensuring safety and hygiene across the centre. Whilst also having the opportunity to shadow Personal Trainers and Fitness Instructors, in various settings to understand and query the reasoning behind their sessions and clients plans.
