In my role as Area Manufacturing Manager at United Biscuits I had responsibility for all of the Operational KPIs, encompassing safety, quality and budgets, for 5 large multi process biscuit and snack lines, managing 12 direct and around 250 indirect reports.

Role is over view of single line opreation that runs complex SKUs for major own label markets. Managing a team of upto 25 people with a wide skills range from all main process to manual packing. Trained to NVQ level 4 Bisuness techniques and currently studying six sigma green belt. Using lean tools to improve and drive efficiency including better ways of working.

Help manage the day to day running of several production lines with the Team Manager. Safety, production planning, labour, cost, audits and hygiene.

Packing on high speed count lines, ensuring good quality of finished product. clean as you go and maintaining current state of 5`s within the production lines.
