On a Part-Time basis Supporting the CEO in a troubleshooting capacity helping with strategy and knowledge across the whole business operations along with due diligence for new business opportunities. Recently supported initiative to re look at the executive team structure for the future supporting a new business plan given the growth of the company. I am also doing coaching and mentoring of a number of management team. In addition company representative at NEPIC meetings etc plus skills agenda.I am still working in the fields of skills and apprenticeships, Chairman of the North East Apprenticeship Ambassador Network (one of nine Regional Chairs in England)and developed the 3 year business plan to meet regional needs re apprenticeships and also a member of the Ambassador National Network for Government, supporting ESFA-NAS. Actively supporting the newly launched Young Apprenticeship Ambassador Network. I am also working with CIEC (Centre for Industry Education Collaboration) at York University leading on the sustainability of Children Challenging Industry programme. Supporting the North East LEP with their Apprentice Growth Partnership and commisioned to do some work on Skills and apprenticeships for the NE Manufacturing Alliance.

Responsible for Regional HR activities for Sembcorp Industries operations in the UK, South Africa, Chile and Central America. Managed change initiatives to restructure the Teesside business to be more streamlined and fit for purpose to meet its new business strategic direction. In addition helped with the new Chile Management organisation and in South Africa restructured need for ex pats and brought in locals to the roles.Supported Group HR team and especially the Functional Head on corporate initiatives.In addition was active member of NEPIC Leadership Team and lead on Skills and Education especially apprenticeship programmes and working alongside many agencies, suppliers and government organisations.
