Happily retired after a career spanning more than 50 years and then afterwards leaving px group after more than 5 years now just fully committed to working part time to support Industrial Technology Systems Ltd for almost 2 years with business activities and supporting the ITS Board and team using my skills, knowledge and experience and developing their apprenticeship and graduate programmes as a Non-Executive Director. Until recently April 2022 when I stood down, walking away but was still very passionate and no longer heavily active in helping young people into world of work and apprenticeships and skills working with Government Departments and the Education Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) as Chairman of North East Employer Apprenticeships Ambassadors Network since 2010 (one of nine Regional Chairs in England) and Chair of the Regional Chairs network, and a member of National Apprenticeship Ambassadors (AAN Network) since 2008 all of which I walked away from and am now no longer in those positions, with the aim of connecting employers with apprenticeships , traineeships, T-Levels, Kick Start and Industrial placements., as well as understanding and involvement in the variety of offers from Government due to issues from the pandemic. The Young Apprenticeship Ambassador Network. is now integrated into the NEAAN.
