Building off my previous experience in a studio, I've recently been playing a crucial role in growing a department for remote live-recorded sessions in the business, something that didn't exist before I joined. Within this I engineer sessions through Source Connect, and direct the session alongside the client and an account manager, remotely recording a voiceover while simultaneously keeping them comfortable and confident. This role has also come with a notable amount of admin work and file management skills, and requires a lot of coordination liaising with the voiceover artists we use, as well as our own Music and Copy departments. I worked as the dedicated sound engineer for the one-woman show Skank from 2019 onwards, eventually taking the show to festivals including Edinburgh Fringe and Brighton Fringe.
