As a Technology Resource Specialist I support the school wide learning community through providing proactive technology direction and responding to a wide variety of simple-to-complex technology issues. This work includes managing and troubleshooting standard and non-standard district technology including tablets, networked computers, various software platforms, classroom and meeting room hardware, and instructional and system tools at Saint Paul’s - Clearwater’s Independent School. Also responsible for technology deployments, updates, and maintaining multiple layers of deployed hardware and software on a regular basis to guarantee the success of all users. Onboarding of new students and faculty supporting their successful transition into our community.

In this position, I served as a liaison with key personnel and learners to ensure successful adoption, deployment, and integration of learning technologies, providing oversight of learning technology projects to ensure learning matches the needs of internal and external stakeholders and enables effortless learning. In addition to these skills, I: Partnered closely with stakeholders including Content, Product Management, Marketing, IT, and Customer Support, ensuring that design and development of solutions support the achievement of desired training outcomes and learner experience.  Worked in partnership with district representatives to customize PD delivery to meet customer needs, worked with account executives to effectively communicate program components, and continuously provided individual support to all learners throughout presentations. Orchestrated the planning and delivery of Carol Morgan School’s most memorable workshops for teachers, “The Cultural Orientation and Assimilation Workshops” in an engaging, innovative, and memorable fashion.  Trained key stakeholders on emerging technologies, designing lessons to heterogeneous groups, fulfilling growing technology demands within the workplace to support colleagues’ success. Championed the design, development, and implementation of Technology Awareness Parent Workshops, including “iParenting Towards Digital Citizenship” to address digital citizenship issues and questions.
