I was approached to fill what was a new role for Jacaranda Finance, working acrossvital partnerships in the lending market as well as taking the lead in evolving theproducts we supply to better suit customer needs, and in turn partner needs.I manage a growing number of partnerships with lead generators, mortgage andfinancial brokers, and match partners within the lending scene.On the product side, I gather feedback from a range of sources – the market, ourpartners and customers – and analyse how we can continuously improve our offering.The nature of this process is both cyclical and collaborative, which I find quitewonderful. I take feedback onboard, we incorporate it into our products and then seekfeedback on the offerings that result. Thus the cycle of working together to solveproblems and develop solutions continues.The aspects of product and partnership are intertwined – without great products, wewouldn’t have such strong partnerships, and without great partners willing to come to uswith feedback, we wouldn’t so easily be able to continually improve on the product front.I’m endlessly grateful that my role enables me to work with a bunch of people whobelieve in honesty and openness and who believe in me to use data, alongside myhoned understanding of the industry and my keen attunement to human nature, to workup solutions that work for everyone.

I was responsible for growing lending volumes from $100 million to $131 million and thenumber of active brokers from 85 to 106 across consecutive quarters.I led educational workshops on strategy for diversifying brokers’ business via lowdocumentation loans, commercial, and SMSF loans.

I was nominated for Asset BDM SA and Best Lender in 2022.I was recognised as a 5-star BDM by The Adviser in 2022.I was responsible for loan origination growth of 208% year-on-year from 2021 to 2022.

I gained a consistent 5-star rating and the compliments of broker partners.I was promoted to the sales team and took up the portfolio of South and WesternAustralia.

I joined the staff of Australian Geographic in 2012 after graduating from school andworked there concurrently for a time with my role at Suncorp.I progressed to become assistant manager of this respected media company.
