- Responsible for coordinating sourcing activities and launching components of new programs according to agreed planning and costs until production starts- Organize and lead Kick-off and Key-stakeholders meetings for new programs/multi-supplier projects- Co-ordinate the segmentation activities of purchased parts for all new procurement projects. Develop strategies related to planning, quality and sourcing for all procured components (including carry-over components), in collaboration with the project team, supplier quality team and the commodity buyer team.- Maintain, own, coordinate and report on the financial performance of the assigned program BOM throughout the launch period- Responsible for coordinating new program investments as per agreed budget.- Part support to the Program Management team.- Use of available means (workshops) in early project development to reduce costs and improve quality.- Ensuring supplier involvement in the early stages of new component programmes.- Development of new suppliers and communication to Commodity buyer/ Commodity Manager- Ensuring that changes made by engineers in the development phase that could impact mass production are communicated to both the commodity buyer team and the source suppliers for those affected components- Ensures that all carry-over components used in new procurement projects are brought to the attention of the commodity buyer team to ensure continuity of production on new suppliers/development of new suppliers. - Direct collaboration with the local buyers team as well as the global commodity team for sourcing decisions related to identifying opportunities for best results in locating suppliers in LCC (low cost countries).- Ensuring all steps are carried out on time (administratively), in order to be able to issue timely firm orders to suppliers for prototypes, capex, etc. - Define, develop, train and implement new designs to ensure projects are launched and executed on time.

Main activities :- Involvement in launch of new projects;- Technical specification books drafting, design review of machines;- Equipment validation according to ISO / TS 16949/2009: - PPAP activities done on supplier side - equipmentvalidation at Bahmueller GmbH, Danobat-Overbeck, Kadia Produktion GmbH &Co , FISA Italy, Realmeca, suppliers in Europe; - PPAP activities done on site - equipment/process validationin Delphi Diesel Systems Romania; - Special PPAP series responsible in soft/hard stage machining (prototypes, samples and serie-0) : - Design record; - Engineering change documents; - PFD; - PFMEA - Process documentation (CP, FMP, EOP, SC); - Measurement system analysis; - Dimensional results; - Initial process studies; - Sample Product; - Master Sample - Responsible for process line implementation and release in production;- Responsible with Line Side Review of the equipment;- Set up contract terms with the suppliers;- Discussion with suppliers to increase efficiency products;- Maintain relationship with suppliers, tracking of suppliers that offer services and technologies.- Refine manufacturing process by applying continuous improvement and lean manufacturing principles;- Identify processes parameters and optimize them for reducing the cycle time;- Initiated new tooling concepts and worked with suppliers to develop tools ;- Process documentation knowledge (PFD, PFMEA, Control Plans, JES, SPC,Process Monitoring, Standard Cell & EOP, Layered Audit, 8D, R&R).- Full Support on Delphi Yantai(China) Facilities for implementation new machining area on Pump Gasoline.
