My main responsibilities are the design and development of web based applications which involves.• Meeting Clients - Discussing options, and working with them to completion of projects• Delivering well designed, testable, efficient websites coded using the best software development practices.• Creating website layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS practices, also implementing CMS systems where required such as WordPress and Joomla, editing themes and plugins to suit client requirements.• The integration of data from various back-end services and databases• Interpret briefs from clients and team members, gathering and refining specifications based on technical needs.• Maintain software documentation• Be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and developing current client sites, as well as our own.• Staying plugged into emerging web development trends and applying them into operations• Cooperation with other web/graphic designers in the team to match design styles and use efficiently limited design resources• Managing e-mail newsletter campaigns for multiple clients as well as our own in-house email marketing.• Working as part of a small team with printers, copywriters, photographers, other designers, account executives, web developers and marketing specialists.
