Who We AreKamarin Computers are part of The HBP Group. Our organisation consists of three businesses; HBP Systems, Kamarin Computers and Jugo Systems. Between us we cover the vast majority of the UK and work under The HBP Group name to provide a seamless service between our northern and southern offices.What We DoThere are three key areas within our business; IT, ERP Software and EPOS. Many of our customers benefit from these complimentary areas to provide a complete digital solution for their organisation from one provider. This means we can work with our customers on their full technology strategy, identifying the potential synergies or indeed potential complications of one area on the other. What We Stand ForThe HBP Group is about more than just technology, products and services. We are a family owned business that has grown over 40 years through the hard work of our fantastic team. At the end of the day, we are a service business so our customer’s experience with us depends almost entirely on our staff. That’s why we firmly believe the best way to run a technology business is to attract brilliant people into it, make them even better and then keep them. My RoleI hold two key roles within The HBP Group. Firstly, I am the Managing Director of Kamarin Computers, responsible for the overall strategic direction and commercial management of the business. As Kamarin are a software development house I also love to spend time with the product development team, coming up with new ideas and solutions to our customers problems. Our flagship products are KCPOS and VisiSoft, an EPOS solution used across the country by trade counters, retailers and tourist attractions. I’m very proud of some of the great household names using our software such as Paultons Park, Eden Project, Beamish Museum and RAF Museum. I’m also responsible for the management of the sales team across The HBP Group acting as Chief Commercial Officer. This means I spend a lot of my time working with the sales team on new business opportunities and account management visits to ensure we are positioning the fantastic products and services delivered by our technical teams in the best possible light.
