• The Maersk Inspirer Drilling and Production Rig is unique, being a jack-up drill rig with a complete production module attached on deck. Working in the Norwegian sector of the North Sea in a multi-cultural environment.

• The Aberdeen Service Centre’s are responsible for contracts within the North Sea and Offshore Ireland, maintaining a variety of OEM equipment.
• Service and overhaul Solar Centaur, Mars 100 and Titan130 gas turbines and their associated driven equipment; generators, compressors and water injection pumps.
• Provide proactive and reactive maintenance on a variety of gas turbine packages including their control and instrumentation systems.
• Perform in-depth fault diagnosis and subsequent breakdown repair as an individual and as part of a team.
• Carry out in depth borescope examinations, interpreting OEM limits and compiling a comprehensive written report.
• Interrogate controls PLC's, adapting ladder logic, installing forces and running strip charts to assist with fault diagnosis.

Aberdeen, United Kingdom

• Service and overhaul TA, TD and SGT 100/200 gas turbines and their associated driven equipment; generators, compressors and water injection pumps.
• Provide proactive and reactive maintenance on a variety of gas turbine packages including their control and instrumentation systems.
• Perform in-depth fault diagnosis and subsequent breakdown repair as an individual and as part of a team.
• Carry out in depth borescope examinations, interpreting OEM limits and compiling a comprehensive written report.
• Complete a full and detailed report for employer and the customer on the completion of a service visit.

• Manager - SNCO Deep Strip, Tornado Propulsion Flight (TPF)TPF carried out deep strip, repair and overhaul of Rolls Royce RB199 aero engines, producing on average 30 engines per month.
• Manage and supervise on average a team of 70 personnel ensuring all work complied with safety and airworthiness directives.

Foreign Object Damage (FOD) prevention was carried out in conjunction to that of SNCO Deep Strip duties. Many of the schemes and policies identified and implemented by me during this period were introduced air force wide due to their great success.
