Launched the firm’s architectural and engineering branch. Lead the design of all facilities developed by the company. Duties included performing the due diligence visits to various potential sites; managing the planning for all facilities, contracting with the necessary consultants, setting schedules and budgets for the CEO. I also supervised and coordinated the production of the necessary construction documents. In the CA portion of the work, I managed the bidding process, contractor selection and permitting process. I’ve met with construction contractors regularly from pre-construction through building commissioning. Provided regular reports to the CEO on the progress of the work, including financial reports. In the construction phase of the work, I reviewed RFI’s, approved shop drawings and pay applications.
