Chair of the Reference Group, managing the 3 year work programme for this national body that represents LLFAs and their statutory duties around SuDS.

Project managed the delivery of this 25yr Mayoral Action Plan focused on encouraging the retrofit of SuDS throughout London.

Nominated as Chairman of The London Drainage Engineering Group (LoDEG) by fellow members at the November 2014 meeting. LoDEG was formed in 2011 following the creation of the new Lead Local Flood Authority role for London Boroughs. This role established new statutory duties for London Boroughs regarding the management of local flood risk as defined by the Flood and Water Management Act 2010. LoDEG's main aims are to:- facilitate partnership working between London Boroughs and other risk management authorities (including the Environment Agency, GLA and Thames Water)- develop tools to support London Boroughs to help them discharge their current and new duties as an LLFA- formulate and provide advice to London Boroughs and LoTAG (London Technical Advisers Group)- promote best practice, and share knowledge and experience within the professionNote that this role is carried out on voluntary basis.

Including the promotion of SuDS both through planning and through physical implementation. I joined Buro Happold to work on the London Olympics Project. I was situated within the design team project office, working closely with people from a number of different companies, on the Flood Risk Assessment for the Park and the Water Strategy for the Games and Legacy. Post the Olympic Planning phase I became a member of the Utilities Infrastructure Team, primarily involved in:• Flood Risk Assessments• Water Strategies• Water Network Design• Utility Infrastructure Masterplanning

I joined Capita Symonds upon completion of my Masters. I was engaged in a multitude of projects, which gave me a strong grounding in everything from flood risk mitigation to the dynamics of working with quangos and government departments.
