Beginning my career in Healthcare Staffing as a recruiter, I was quickly promoted to a managerial position after showcasing high level communication and leadership skills. After spending years as a Healthcare Manager, working closely with our clients and patients in the field, I decided I wanted to continue my career focusing on customer experience. This lead me to M&T bank where I joined a team responsible for building front end applications that our customers use for opening bank accounts. My first position was an analyst and product owner where my duties consisted of studying our customer experience and utilizing that to make data driven decisions to improve the overall experience for our users. I was also responsible for leading a team of developers to create a back end system for bank employees that would be used to monitor our customers behavior. This was an opportunity to showcase my leadership skills as well as my ability to execute on all of the responsibilities of a product owner. After almost two years of service on the business side with that team I then decided to become a Scrum Master. Although it is within the same team creating front end applications, this new role allowed me to get a better understanding of the technology used to build our products. While in this role I have worked with developers, stakeholders, product owners, and other members of the bank in order to build software as quickly and efficiently as possible. Utilizing agile methodologies to promote safe and efficient work environments ultimately trickles down to an exemplary front end user experience for our banking customers. I am ultimately seeking a position as a Product Owner or Project Manager. Having experience as a Business Analyst, Product Owner, and Scrum Master ensures that I have the business and technology skillset required to create the best customer experience possible.
