Managing and coordinating the execution of a variety of projects with Architect-Engineering firms for the Engineering Division (EN) forwarded deployed unit supporting the Real Property Services Field Office (RSFO). RSFO is one of the only full-service realty/project management shops in the federal government that offers fully cleared TS/SCI personnel to support the challenges of building secure facilities.• Serves as the primary POC and the customer liaison for all design-related issues and A-E contract issues.• Coordinate with project delivery team members in the planning, design, cost engineering, construction acquisition, and environmental considerations.• Evaluate A-E fee proposal and establish negotiation objectives.• Control and manage design milestones and budgets.• Monitors A-E progress throughout the design process ensuring A-E compliance with contract scope.

Perform quality assurance and quality control inspections for real property and shore facilities within the 113 acre/100+ building US Coast Guard Shipyard. Act as design lead in the develop construction documents as part of the Design & Construction team.

Proactively managed multiple construction projects of varying levels of complexity, from initiation, planning, executing, monitoring, and controlling, to closing. Determine the responsibilities and specifications for projects by identifying project phases and processes, studying client requirements, assigning personnel, reviewing contractor bids, and preparing cost estimates.• Developed project scope of work documents, costs, and schedules; review and negotiate fee proposals.• Provided and executed stakeholder communication plans that included timely and accurate updates regarding project status, costs, risks, and schedule impacts.• Forecasted project risks and take the appropriate mitigating measures before they occur.

Responsible for receiving, assigning and monitoring project requests as well as the management of renovation and capital renewal projects for 18 buildings totaling 2.57 Million SF. Provide leadership and management for a 10 person professional team including assistant director, project managers and support staff.
