Led the turnaround of the $125 million United States Playing Card Company, increasing EBITDA by more than 10% for two consecutive years and leading to the sale of the company at the shareholders' desired earnings multiple. Responsible for strategic planning and P&L for all company product, marketing and licensing efforts world-wide. Products include playing cards and accessories, sold at retail and into casinos. Managed all company brands, including Bicycle and Bee. Extensive interaction with leading domestic mass market retailers, including Wal*Mart, Walgreens, Kroger, and Dollar General, as well as top international customers in Japan, China, and Mexico. Responsible for 1,250 skus and more than $122 million in wholesale volume/year. Managed $1.05 million operating budget and 10 associates in marketing and creative.

Principal for online entertainment content development and production firm with three employees. Developed business plan and innovative business model to monetize online entertainment content, including webisodes (online cartoons) and digital greetings. Developed and managed company budget. Negotiated and managed all investor, licensor, customer and freelance creator relationships.

Managed key investments and acquisitions and authored and executed the reorganization and restructuring of the company, leading to its acquisition at 100% premium to the stock price in 2000.
