Home Care Service - Created a Personal Services Agency for individuals with temporary or permanent deminished physical capacity in cooperation with these individuals families. Licensed by the State of Indiana Health Department and authorized as a Medicaid Waiver Provider. We helped seniors, women with high risk pregnancies, individuals recovering from surgery and accident victims maintain an independant life style.

Technical Writer - wrote telecom training modules on technology and history of broadband communications for the Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers.

Oversaw, installations, service, maintenance, dispatch, business solutions (commercial services tech. ops) and technical training. Under my direction we launched digital phone service, added a 24 hour per day tier 3 HSD and telephony support center, and launched compressed switch digital video. We upgraded and deployed a GPS based workforce / fleet management system. We made digitized plant maps and real time performance monitoring, plant diagnostics tools available for field personnel.

Was recruited to intiate consolidation the Army Reserves' G-8 section of medical personnel, training, material and other logistical support for the western hemisphere under a single command reporting to the USARC. Our medical command, ARMEDCOM, planned and completed this transition. In the process we took over command and control of approx. 40,000 medical and medical support personnel (approximately one third of all US military medical personnel world wide). Our command center reported to CenCom & was under the direction of the Assistant US Surgeon General.

Franchise Development & Fiber Optics Project Manager

Oversaw, technical operations (install, service maintenance) dispatch, warehouse, call center operations, writing and meeting capital and operating budgets. Was responsible for interactions and relations with municipal (franchise) authorities in the metro area. While here, I planned and launched digital phone service.

Directed plant maintenance, technical operations, customer service, government relations, marketing, budget and monthly financial operations for West Michigan. Later assumed resposibilities for the technical operations in the Grand Rapids Market as well. These markets served 165,000 households and businesses. Launched high speed data service and increased channel capacity by a factor of 5 fold.

Wrote training materials and directed the technical training effort for Michigan, Minnesota & Wisconsin. Worked with AT&T corporate in the development of training for compressed digital video. Worked on a committee that developed AT&T's (TCI's) career pathing that was incorporated as the corporate standard.

Wrote technical training materials in a cooperations with trainers in other areas. Provided classroom and field instuction for Ohio, West Virginia, Michigan and Chicago Areas.

Sold and provided training on automated RF test equipment for a territory reaching from Minnesota to South Carolina.

Directed the operations of local offices and their personnel across Georgia, Alabama and Southern Louisiana. During this time we added a fiber optics backbone and upgraded our plant to double channel capacity.

Conducted monthly board meetings, reviewed monthly financial statements and make needed operational changes. Interacted with funding sources such as area United Way Agencies.
