Responsible for all Endava projects delivered from its 3 delivery centres in Romania; Project Managers from Cluj, Iasi and Bucharest reported to him, overseeing 500+ staff involved in software development projects.Another key part of George’s role is the involvement in bids and initial project shaping. Through workshops with customers, George takes an active role in the inception of projects creating a context appropriate for successful delivery: leading the consulting teams, tailoring processes, team compositions, tools, leading estimation teams, channelling effective communication.As Head of PM, George serves as an escalation point for PMs; manages escalated red and amber issues on projects and maintains communication with the sales and clients; undertakes project reviews with PMs; assists in winning and maintain satisfied customers; fully supports Group Projects Management development and growth; builds a motivated & productive PM team; provide advice in approaching key/complex projects; ensures best practice are implemented in projects; attracts, develops and retains highly skilled PMs; ensures all the Disciplines implement best practices in projects.Was part of the Endava Romanian Board taking an active role in best practice and people management for the software development area.

Handled delivery management for the Endava Romanian branches in Cluj and Iasi with 200+ IT billable staff.Very actively involved in business winning.Played a key role in improving and synchronizing the organization and activity of the IT Delivery departments at Group level; and in the design of TEAM, The Endava Adaptive Model, an comprehensive end-to-end delivery lifecycle that allows Endava to sucessfuly deliver a wide range of bespoke IT projects into a diverse client base.Led the design and implementation of ISO 9001/2008 based on TEAM.
