I was tasked with releasing requirements for software and hardware implementation along with approving the work of feature engineers that fell within my feature categories. My responsibilities extended as well to the release and approval of hardware logic drawings to be used in the first Mentor Graphics generative harness to be used on a production vehicle.Tasked as team process lead I created templates for our work products, established formatting standards, and documented our work instructions. To aid in the efficiency of our team and cut out repetitive work I managed a peer creating a Java based application that automated the creation of customized templates which gave an estimated 15% boost in efficiency.Upon my request I was added to Navistar’s vehicle cybersecurity workgroup, where vehicle cybersecurity concerns are evaluated, and requirements are developed. I participated as an active contributor to the team, whose work products include threat assessments, attack models, cybersecurity goals , functional requirements, technical requirements, and device requirements structured and modeled after SAE J3061. -
