"Greece 2021" Committee was formed in late 2019 by Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis to coordinate the celebrations (in Greece and around the world) of the bicentennial anniversary of the commencement of the Greek revolution in 1821.(https://greece2021.gr/en/)My role included :• Leading a small team responsible for the international programme of the Committee. The team managed to mobilize and coordinate Greek diaspora and other organizations in 47 countries around the world. • Preparation, participation and follow-up of the President’s meetings with foreign Ambassadors to Greece • Speechwriter and op-ed writer for the President of the Committee, for her international engagements. • Deputy Liaison between the Committee and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; liaison with all Greek Embassies abroad.• International and Diaspora affairs advisor to the Committee’s President. • Member of the international marketing team for the Committee’s Numismatic Program, the main funding vehicle for the Committee’s work

The main responsibilities of the role included :• Planning and execution of outreach and public diplomacy activities, media relations and event planning • Social media management • Point of contact for media inquiries and spokesperson duties. • Handling of communication aspects of official high-level visits to the US (Primeminister, ministers etc)• Drafting of press releases and op-eds • Research, analysis and reporting on current issues to determine media planning/handling • Participation in the EU Delegation’s Press Officers’ meetings – collaboration on planning and execution of joint communications campaigns • Management of a small team and liaising with external partners • Co-handling the Embassy’s cultural portfolio

Advised the Secretary General on communication strategies on various issues of public policy and designed campaigns for Greek civil service entities.

Duties as Events Manager included the organization of Press Conferences with the Prime Minister and several government ministers and other entities of the Greek civil service. Member of the team, which organized the Prime Minister's press conference at the 78th Thessaloniki International Fair (September 6, 2013) and the press centers and events for the official visits of Ms A. Merkel (April 2014) and Mr Erdogan (December 2014, Greece - Turkey High Level Summit of Cooperation).

Lead role as the Deputy Head of Zappeion press center for the Greek EU Presidency 2014. Main responsibilities included designing and running the Press Center that facilitated Greek and foreign journalists during the Greek Presidency, and facilitating the Presidency and foreign delegations’ media needs.

Member of the Press and Communications team of the Embassy. Duties included: - media relations, media monitoring and reporting, social media management, drafting of press releases and briefing notes on issues of bilateral interest. - timely and accurate handling of an extraordinarily large volume of media requests due to the Greek financial crisis February 2009 - August 2010- organisation of events - facilitation of official visits to the UK

- Content editor and administrator of the English section of the website www.minpress.gr (Secretariat General of Communication/Information)- Handling of international media requests regarding politics, tourism, culture and several other areas of interest in Greece.- Member of the team that organized and ran the international Press Office and Press Events for the inauguration of the new Acropolis Museum.

Main responsibilities included: • speech writing for the Deputy Government Spokesman • drafting of briefing notes on current issues of domestic and international politics • preparing and organizing the daily media briefing of the Deputy Government Spokesman, which entailed closely following all major government policies and regular communication with all Ministers’ cabinets • research for, drafting and follow up of the Spokesman's interviews in Greek and foreign Media • handling Greek and international media requests

- Teaching the "Sales Management" module at the "Marketing and Advertising Specialists" programme.- Research for and preparation of the teaching material and PowerPoint presentations.
