IMPACT INVESTOR - COMMUNITY INVESTINGI am leading a multi-dimensional impact investing effort that will pursue a range of strategic investments that create jobs, fuel small businesses, revitalize commercial areas, improve housing, expand local incomes and make communities safer and stronger. As part of that charge, I will be leading the Opportunity Zone investment strategy across LISC and its affiliates; utilizing the new legislation as a tool for introducing new investors to the investing LISC has been doing in these areas for 40 years, but also as a lever for expanding the investment asset classes in which LISC and its partners invest.CO-FOUNDER AND PRESIDENT OF SOL SYSTEMSAs a critical contributor to the vision, development and evolution of an innovative renewable energy investment and financing company, I ensure that Sol Systems is well positioned to create sustainable investment opportunities on behalf of our clients and investment partners through tax-advantaged structures, GP/LP infrastructure funds, construction and permanent debt, and asset acquisitions. On a daily basis I manage the Development Business - the Project Origination team, the Project Finance group, and the New Products / Markets group. INVESTMENTS, SECURITIZATION, TRADING, FINANCIAL ANALYSISTo date, Sol Systems has invested in nearly $1 billion in solar assets on behalf of private and institutional investors. Prior to Sol Systems, I worked in capital markets for more than 10 years. At Fannie Mae, I managed more than $20 billion in asset purchases (PLS, CLO, MBS, and Whole Loan Pools) with some of the largest banks and investment firms in the country.
