My responsibilities were centered around business development, predominantly in the veterinary market. I established pricing guidelines and promotional programs for the bank's vendor business partners.

Univest delivers these services through a network of 40 offices in southeastern Pennsylvania extending to the Lehigh Valley and Maryland.For the bank's leasing subsidiary, Univest Capital, Inc., I continued the momentum that I had developed (over the previous nine years) in the veterinary market to provide equipment financing services.

Court Square Leasing Corporation provided leasing services to office, veterinary, healthcare, and commercial equipment markets. The company offered its services to copiers, fax machines, and mailing equipment dealers; aesthetics, cardiology, dentistry, dermatology, ear, nose and throat, family medicine, ob-gyn, ophthalmology, optometry, plastic surgery, radiology, and urology care equipment manufactures, dealers and distributors; veterinary equipment manufacturers, dealers and distributors. It also financed construction, telecommunication, machine tool, computer hardware/software, packaging, office furniture, and manufacturing equipment.Working exclusively in the veterinary field, I developed Court Square into one of the industry leaders for vendor equipment finance. I developed relationships at all levels of the organization, while establishing pricing, promotional programs, lending guidelines and business flow protocols for each of the programs.I provided training to business partners' sales staffs, and attended 10 to 14 veterinary conferences per year, either exhibiting and/or supporting the sales efforts of our business partners.

I developed and coordinated vendor-based leasing relationships in Eastern Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware, and launched successful direct marketing campaigns to existing and prospective end-users. Additionally, I wrote and implemented the company's 1996 sales and marketing business plan.

As marketing manager, I solicited, developed and maintained relationships with software vendors, value-added resellers and end users of software. I was also involved in the implementation aspects of the program, which included pricing, special lease structures and training of the vendor's sales force, as well as analysis of credit information. Using desktop publishing tools, I designed brochures, pamphlets and other materials necessary to promote software leasing and training.From 1988 to 1992, I oversaw all credit-related functions for the finance lease programs. I developed criteria and procedures for lending into the programs, and reviewed and analyzed all transactions. I was directly responsible for managing the assets for some of the programs. Specific responsibilities included the assessment of the ongoing value of equipment, planning for the disposition of the equipment, determining the value of returned equipment, and the remarketing of the assets to outside sources.

As credit manager, my primary responsibility was the analysis of financial information with loan proposal submissions. I managed small to middle market finance lease transactions, and established credit lines for dealers under inventory financing agreements. I was also responsible for the remedial management of a multi-state collection portfolio, which included account rehabilitation, account liquidation, and the marketing of repossessed inventory. In addition, I negotiated "market value" purchase options, reviewed lease documentation prior to funding, and provided marketing support to equipment suppliers and customers.
