Led an 850-person workforce of geographically dispersed security professionals throughout Minnesota at nine Federalized airports to include Minneapolis - St. Paul International Airport (MSP). Responsible for all elements of Minnesota’s enterprise-wide security screening program including policy implementation, state-wide strategy, security operations, security analysis, and risk mitigation.

Led collaborative interagency projects as the Operations Director and provided direction and guidance to partner organizations in the planning and management of broad-based key institutional initiatives. Supervised special agents chartered with overseeing worldwide counterintelligence, counter-terrorism, and counter-espionage operations and analyses. Conducted liaison, deconfliction, and coordination of operational activities at the national level with CIA, FBI, NSA, and various DoD agencies to ensure representation of US Army equities. Established operational and logistical operational bases in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Qatar. Provided technical reviews of all policies, procedures, guidelines and project plans and ensured compliance with applicable regulations. Deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation ENDURING FREEDOM conducting sensitive and complex investigations and operations for the national intelligence community. Awarded for Operational Excellence as the US Army’s case officer of the year. Held a TOP SECRET/SCI code-word clearance with counterintelligence scope polygraph.
