As a PeopleSoft Campus Solutions Senior Programmer/Analyst, I have supported the design of a comprehensive training system for 200K sailors within the United States Navy as well as for various members of the United States Armed Forces, performing all requirements gathering and technical writing/documentation. Additionally, I also assessed and documented discrepancies present across the current CeTARS legacy system’s functionality and Campus Solutions to inform and develop a Campus Solutions Proof of Concept that enhanced end-user experiences and information accessibility. This directly impacted the My Navy Learning Stack Student Information System Project, where I also developed all standard operating procedures for the project, including its scope and related timelines to ensure that all technical solutions developed and integrated within the program occurred seamlessly and on time with little to no errors/discrepancies.I also designed and created a Campus Solutions sandbox database, ascertaining and evaluating relevant data for Naval Education and Training Command (NETC) personnel for proof of concept concerning the initial design and functionality of PeopleSoft Campus Solutions. In direct support of this project, I also performed all functionality testing and validation to maximize overall interface, connectivity, and scalability before its release to all end-users, troubleshooting and remediating any and all technical interface and other issues promptly.I continuously collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout technical project completion, coordinating the on time and within budget performance of all deliverables, programming, and software solutions. I have also participated in Agile sprints and documented their progress within Jira. I also possess all clearances and have completed all training and onboarding necessary to utilize and work with the United States Navy’s PeopleSoft software and the My Navy Learning Stack Project.

Receiving Life Saving Medical Treatment

As a Technical Program Leader, I led the creation and integration of software and various programming that converted over 100K student data across 12 campuses and four different software systems into one, central program: Campus Management’s CampusVue. This involved extracting and consolidating large amounts of data across Campus Solutions: Student Financials, Student Records and Financial Aid Modules, Salesforce CRM, and Powerfaids Financial Aid programs throughout each location. To ensure this project’s seamless completion, I developed all strategic planning and project scope to produce realistic timelines concerning data extraction from three legacy systems, data formatting, and new code assignments in addition to performing all coding. I also designed a conversion process that exported data via a unified userid to determine when the same student’s data was extracted from multiple systems to prevent duplicate information, monitoring program extraction progresses/built-in extract program restart capabilities.Additionally, I created 80% of all SQR conversion programs and audit capabilities while overseeing and designing the writing of 20% of all SQR conversion programs, leading five software engineers and managing the data delivery process and executed conversion programs throughout dozens of test conversions and three go-live conversions (50+ hours of continuous conversion during one go-live). March 2011 – April 2014In my role, I continuously promoted the on-time and within budget performance of all project deliverables and objectives and provided comprehensive program and software solutions oversight to maximize the institution’s data collection and storage capabilities. I also directed the execution of the software conversion process while promoting sustained communication with CCi and CampusManagement’s stakeholders and developed various reports and portal views to accelerate data validation across all systems.

As a Campus Solutions Senior Programmer, I increased student retention rates from 75% to 95%, spearheading the development and coding of a Student Retention capability that ascertained relevant student data onto a central location so that faculty could see students at-risk and provide additional support. Within this project, I performed all program enhancements and enabled end-users’ abilities to include internal notes for at-risk students and create workflow task lists to track students and ensure that individuals were receiving appropriate supports. I also directed the creation of an online interface for faculty members (utilizing e-Companion) so that faculty could transport multimedia information and digital tools from one course to a different term for new students in addition to designing all reporting within the internal program that staff members utilized when tracking at-risk students.To maximize hundreds of end-user experiences with the institution, I coordinated the timely resolution of numerous help desk tickets, assessing and evaluating gaps in software and program performance to ensure that effective solutions were present. I also managed the creation and integration of comprehensive solutions and necessary improvements to the organization’s programming, including PeopleTools and the Application Engine.

In this role, I increased efficiency across existing reports and programs (decreasing processing times to less than 5% of original time needed). I also developed and coded and online error correction capability for all staff members, enabling individuals to manually correct financial transactions received from external sources that possessed errors. I created a Federal Financial Aid reporting capability to enable data integration from multiple systems through the and maintained the tuition calculation and posting process for CCi’s non-term-based module programs and lead the design of an application engine program that evaluated student start dates and terms completed to assign accurate academic years. This enabled automatic student repacking in Financial Aid in less than one year if certain conditions were completed. I also created and maintained all application engine processes necessary to validate and upload student financial ledger transactions.Simultaneously, I served as a Business Analyst professional as well, creating functional and technical specifications and leading technical staff members throughout programming. I also developed and programmed various software solutions and other technical enhancements independently as well in cluding help desk resolutions for 15 schools. July 2004 – July 2009I developed technical and functional specifications and oversaw technical staff present throughout software solution delivery and programming while managing all information and content present for many schools within a single database on behalf of CCi, ensuring that all data and programming accurately reflected each institution. I independently programmed various improvements within institution’s technical systems and developed and maintained a student ledger SQR report, utilizing tree structures to group data appropriately based on various reporting and categorization requirements.

As a Senior Technical Consultant, I supported the institution’s upgrade to PeopleSoft 8.9, performing all programming and strategic planning necessary to ensure its timely roll-out with minimal-to-zero issues or discrepancies. I also single-handedly assessed and updated over 300 customer pages via PeopleCode and SQL in addition to updating and correcting information as needed. I ensured that all views were functional within the new technical environment and complied with all Butler University standards and regulations. Additionally, I performed comprehensive analysis and research to ensure that the EXCELTOCI capability was fully functional and performed the necessary tasks to prepare to the execution of user accepted testing (UAT). Furthermore, all of these tasks were performed with minimal supervision and merged various custom modifications within the new PeopleSoft upgrade code.

As a Senior Technical Consultant, I corrected and developed a variety of technical solutions in addition to implement appropriate improvements as needed. These included (but are not limited to) the integration of a one-time transcript fee, a customized commencement process, customized userid generation process, and an influential online enhancement that determined closed program applicants’ status as well as programs that generated (3Cs) communications table entries and the academic standing process. I also performed PeopleSoft Financial patches and upgrades and resolved a myriad of help desk tickets when issues occurred in production. I also designed/corrected custom admissions SQR reports and a non-payment enrollment cancellation process. Overall, I ensured that comprehensive support was provided across an installed Student Administration Student Financials, Student Records and Admission’s modules, and PeopleSoft Financial modules. Notably, I also directed the creation and integration of major enhancements to the web self-service Student Financials modules.
