Since its founding in 1934, JSA has served as a place where students build leadership skills, learn civil debate, and strengthen their engagement through volunteering and activism. More than 500,000 students have graduated high school as more active, informed members of their community as a result of their participation in JSA.• Elected Governor of the Mid-Atlantic State (NJ, DC, VA, PA, MD, and NC), which sees participation from over 50 high schools and 1,200 students.• Led a 17-member executive cabinet and coordinated efforts of 6 total cabinets (80 people total). • Organized national conventions in Newark, NJ and D.C.• Negotiated vendor contracts to make conventions accessible • Managed budget• Enacted strategic goals for the organization.• Sat as a voting member of the Council of Governors, the governing body of the national organization.
