I am responsible for a wide variety of finance, treasury and tax aspects of the Cox business, working with the CFO and the wider leadership team. Core activities include:• Introducing and managing a dynamic cash flow forecasting tool to allows modelling of multiple commercial scenarios in short order to better inform decision making.• Managing and developing relationships with external lenders, stakeholders, auditors and advisers and preparing financial aspects of IMs/board reporting. Recent activities include a successful 8 figure equity raise from new/existing investors. • Driving and coordinating the structure of overseas expansion including legal, tax, financial and employment aspects. This includes Europe, US and Asia.• Introducing treasury strategy, policy and processes to manage risks, including setting up and operating FX fixing, as well as multi-currency banking facilities.

Responsible for all M&A and structuring matters for both Golar LNG Limited and Golar LNG Partners LP. Internally, Responsible for managing and delivering corporate restructuring projects, bringing together legal, financing, accounting, regulatory, market and tax aspects. Externally, Responsible for representing the interests of the company when entering into new transactions. This includes the structuring of new Joint Ventures, entering into new markets/business relationships and certain capital market transactions. Both aspects of the role require extensive engagement with internal and external stakeholders and strong business partnering skills. Responsible for instructing, managing and being the main point of contact for customers, business partners and external advisors, including both lawyers and financial advisors.In addition, retain certain responsibilities for legacy tax matters, tax structuring of new transactions and the overall tax strategy for the Company.

Responsible for all tax and transaction structuring matters for both Golar LNG Limited and Golar LNG Partners LP. This includes managing and defining the tax model and strategy, transfer pricing, tax structuring into new territories including tax DD, oversees tax issues, tax reporting under US GAAP and tax compliance. The role also involves designing and implementing the structure (both tax and non-tax elements) of new transactions, business relationships and new contracts. This requires understanding of, and decision making based off, all key aspects of a transaction including legal, financing, cabotage, permitting, accounting and profit repatriation.
