Throughout my entire career, I've been an advocate for the learner. I have endeavored to create the best possible training programs, courses and performance support tools in order to increase the knowledge, skills and positive attitudes of my learners so that their earning power and quality of life is maximized. If along the way, the corporation makes increased profits, so much the better.Currently I specialize in the creation of eLearning strategy and programs, courses, assessments and interactive job aids. I joined The Vancouver Clinic to help them implement a LMS and eLearning approach to complement their current ILT offerings from the Learning and Development team.Priot to TVC, I was working at a greenfield hospital named Sidra being built in Doha, Qatar, using Storyline, Captivate 7, Camtasia Studio 8 and Prezi Desktop to produce eLearning that plays on iPads/tablets, smartphones and Windows-based machines. Formerly, I worked for Kaiser Permanente in the healthcare industry for 3.5 years, designing and developing the initial eLearning courses for the launch of an online Front Office University. Before that, I managed and designed eLearning courses for an Online University for Dunkin' Brands. My dream job would be to lead a creative team of Instructional Designers/Developers. I've taken people who were complete novices at Instructional Design and eLearning development and helped them become productive in those roles before, and I look forward to doing it again. Short of that, I am also very happy being an extremely productive creative contributor.
