Including our corporate location and repair and maintenance facilities in 6 states, I directed 7 senior staff members over Finance and Accounting, Funding, IT, HR, Payroll, Treasury, and Risk Management. As a member of the Executive Team and Board of Directors, I established and enforced long and short-term financial and operational strategies to ensure profitability and our positioning in our target market. With a fleet of more than 2,000 vehicles, I oversaw compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, ensuring appropriate licenses, permits, and records were maintained by all locations, including mileage, maintenance, and costs per vehicle. To minimize risk, I enforced appropriate levels of customer insurance and directed collection and credit operations, reconciling accounts on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.As the company progressed through multiple expansions, I led cost analysis and due diligence efforts to monitor profitability and ensure ROI, developing pricing models to include current and new customers. I maintained partnerships with our lending institutions to negotiate credit lines and payment schedules and managed key relationships with management and executives of our customer accounts, overseeing paperwork associated with scheduled maintenance and repairs. With approximately 160 associates, I directed Human Resources, ensuring correct payroll and benefits administration for all staff. Additionally, I consulted with our external legal counsel to verify the integrity of our contracts and manage workers compensation claims and other legal matters.Working with our CPA firm to support audits, tax preparation, and financial reporting, I directed the flow of information to prospective buyers, providing detailed data on cash flow, assets, expenditures, contracts, costs-per-vehicle, ROI, and projected forecasts. In 2011, I participated in negotiations for the sale of the company and assisted with the relocation of its headquarters.
