Architect and deploy Oracle ASM volumes and recovery strategies. Architect and deploy Solaris 10 on to Sun SPARC T5240 and T3-2 servers, using Solaris Logical Domain virtualization technologies. Architect and deploy Veritas Cluster using Solaris 10, Veritas Cluster 5.x, and Veritas Storage 5.x, on to Sun V240 servers for Oracle 11g database. Deploy WebLogic 10.3 middleware servers using Solaris 10 on to Sun V480 servers. Update and maintain Solaris 10 Jumpstart Servers. Create PERL and BOURNE scripts to automate post-installation configuration process. Create PERL script to validate system UNIX host table, forward and reverse DNS lookups, and SNMP read access. Create PERL script to configure and maintain generic UNIX DNS server. Create PERL script to perform UNIX QA analysis for Solaris, Linux, and AIX operating systems. Test Solaris 10 x86 and Solaris 11 x86 on VMware cloud infrastructure. Build Solaris 11 SPARC Automated Installer and IPS Repository server.

Architect, deploy, and manage high-availability clusters, web & sendmail servers, enterprise storage, workstations, and thin-client infrastructure in a complex Solaris, Microsoft, and Linux application services network. Monitor and maintain health of client and server environments using CA eHealth enterprise management tool, Perl, and Bourne shell scripts. Evaluate and secure computing resources using Center for Internet Security (CIS) tools. Coordinate transition and integration of new systems into network baseline. Tier-3 support of 1200 client systems and 2000 users. Develop and teach ‘Intro to Unix’ and ‘Intro to Shell Scripting’ training classes, and mentor junior level system administrators. Extensive experience with Sun/Oracle technologies; working knowledge and support of Red Hat, Microsoft, Apple, and Cisco technologies.
